We have really enjoyed seeing all the improvements on the farm this year. You are obviously thinking about these things and working on a plan to get them taken care of. It's obvious in your videos you are serious about the farm and have ideas for the future. Time for another Q and A with Dad? :) Discuss the changes made since the last Q and A and thoughts about what's next? Thanks for the time you spend keeping us updated! We love being part of your RUclips family!
0:22 lol I couldn't help but bust out laughing at the yippy dog cutting you off and you having to restart what you were saying after seeing you complain about him barking all the time a couple videos ago.
It is all looking good. The cows look fantastic. Glad to see all your efforts are resulting in significant improvements for your livestock management and care.
In all of your explanations you have never had a negative tone in your voice. It has always been interesting and informative no matter how many times you've said it. That's a very important part your personality in these videos, along with chocolate milk and your sodas. Always been a pleasure to watch your videos.
Addition looks very good Eric with well thought out features that will undoubtedly help you guys and the cows as well. Thanks for taking us along in the build! 👍🏻
New addition looks awesome! Love the pup's attitude -- Those cows would not have behaved at all without his convincing borks! He's doing his part to help! You should get him a little cowboy hat and some chaps!
So good to see the constant development of your farm ! And so tidy, I’m retired from farming but wish I could have been tidier when I was still milking. Always trying to do too much myself, not good. Great job!
I am so impressed by your concern for your cows across so many dimensions. I bet the milk your cows produce is simply amazing. Shame on me if I don't give your videos a thumbs up every single time.
Eric, awesome video! I like seeing the little dog develop situational awareness for his own safety. I followed another dairy for a while, an organic dairy. Unfortunately, the RUclipsr accidentally ran over his favorite barn cat. He was black, and I think his name was Felix. I felt bad for the guy, but he handled it well, saying he did all he could to look out for the cats. Unfortunately, this kind of stuff can occur on a farm. I agree with the others. A sitdown with dad to discuss the farm changes and outlook/vision would be great.
Really enjoyed watching and hearing how y'all take care of the cows. It's shows y'all are not just in it for the money but really care about your animals. It was nice seeing you working with your dad. I miss them days of works Ng along side my dad. Keep up the good work stay safe and be careful. God bless y'all.
Thanks for all the explanation of how you manage cows in their different stages (pre-fresh; special needs, calving, etc.) Very interesting to us non-dairy folks. The new addition looks good and should make things easier for you. I always enjoy your videos whether your farming, feeding cows, doing maintenance on equipment, or putting up new buildings!
I think it's great that you guys are expanding your pens and improving the flow and area for prefresh and special needs use. Sounds like you will be expanding your stock and your saying that allows you to pay for the new additions, awesome job. Sweet video, liked it, thanks for sharing. I hope you all have a great Sunday, stay safe out there!
This was the finale video I was waiting for! The addition looks really good. The cows will appreciate the extra room and it sure looks like it will be improved function for you. Glad it came out. Looking forward to manure spreading!
Just a thought. If you weld a square plate on the movable post to match the plug it might help clear debris and help keep the holes cleaner over the years. That’s a great idea on pen sizing.
I love watching your videos. I'm really impressed with the details you put into all the expansion plans you've done. Very well done. Have a great fall season.
Eric - Now that the weather finally broke how much of an increase will you see in milk production? Mornings in the 40's and afternoons in the 60's has to be perfect for them.
You and your dad are always thinking about the future. The barn addition turned out really well. All the things that you included with the addition make a lot of sense. And it will make it easier for you two, to do your jobs. Great outcome. Great content. Stay safe.
Wow! You have certainly had quite a bit of variety these past few weeks. Your video is always spot on with the details of farm life. It is not surprising that your subscriber numbers keep growing. Thanks for keeping it always interesting 🧐
Love hearing about cow comfort. Eve more about how their comfort translates to your comfort and vice versa. Everyone is comfortable and things are going smoothly. As it should be.
Well thought out, well planned, well executed. You're new investment will serve you well. The father/son dynamic duo strikes again! It's been a pleasure following your journey up till now. Too bad those random chocolate milks and Mt. Dew's didn't appear anywhere you were working. Oh well, can't rely on Lady Luck to place delicious beverages around all the time!
After I binge watched all you videos, I started to do the same with SaskDutch Kid, He has mentioned you a couple of times. Good Luck, Ken in Rhode Island
A convenient door to go in and out of is a major. Easy to pop in to check on any cows that may need assistance. Be handy to have a cupboard somewhere close by for calving cow supplies also maybe a tap with a bucket ....all out of cow reach of course. 🐄🐄🐄🐄comfortable 🐄🐄🐄🐄happy
Y’all put a lot of thought into this barn. I really like how you designed it so you can make the pins bigger or smaller. I would have loved to have a barn like that back in the 60’s and 70’s when we were in the dairy business.
You may want to weld a bit of square plate to the bottom of the movable gate post as a way to keep the gate hinge lined up the way you want it The square plate could work as a "key" in the recessed square hole in the floor to keep things from turning. I could see a cow pushing up against the gate and rotating the post enough to release the gate from the latch.
Wow! You guys have certainly given the expansion a lot of creative thought. The flexibility to change pen sizes should payoff for decades to come. Great videos. Thanks for taking the time and effort to video and edit.
Really enjoyed watching the place change for the better they seemed to love the extra space to walk around which is good for being locked in a pen so be good for cow health and happiness well done. Make work easier not harder.

Yes we need another one!
Great layout, shows how thoughtful you guys and gals are toward your work procedures and cow comfort! Cheers!
Really smart, good design for the new addition.
The new addition looks great! Thanks for sharing with us.
0:22 lol I couldn't help but bust out laughing at the yippy dog cutting you off and you having to restart what you were saying after seeing you complain about him barking all the time a couple videos ago.
I had to rewind and relive that moment 2x 😂😂
Looks really nice Eric thanks for sharing all the neat things you and your Dad do!
His dairy farm is amazing, I love all these dairy cows.
Glad to see the project completed, love the details.
I appreciate the way you're gentle and patient with your animals. So many people think you have to be forceful and loud for no reason.
You need a paint company to give you some good paint to advertise and repaint all your gates in the new barn .
EXCELLENT explanation as to reasons for expansion.
Looks like the modification were well worth it.
It is all looking good. The cows look fantastic. Glad to see all your efforts are resulting in significant improvements for your livestock management and care.
His dairy farm is sure to thrive with the seriousness he takes to the cows.
Enjoyed watching the build ,
Great job gentlemen
Like what was done to the building, well thought out.
Great explanation of the expansion and features! Lots of experience and planning went into creating an efficient barn. Nice work guys!
I find 99.9% of your videos interesting and try not to miss any!! Thanks for sharing God Bless!!
The way he cares about the cows amuses and impresses me.
Love seeing how you truly care for the cows. Makes that clover farms vs store brand decision so much easier!

You should take that Center Post and put a plate on that as well that will help keep the sand and saw dust out of the hole
Such nice improvements and Dutchess has become quite the formidable farm dog!
Love the new setup Eric! Cow comfort is your #1 priority, love the videos been watching for along time! From a grain farmer from Saskatchewan!
Great video Eric! Looks like the cows are enjoying the new space! Hopefully it pays itself off for you guys!
Addition looks very good Eric with well thought out features that will undoubtedly help you guys and the cows as well. Thanks for taking us along in the build! 👍🏻
You have been very serious about developing your dairy farm. I like that very much.

always nice to have more room looks great well done
Eric. Great planning being able to move gates and posts around anytime, anywhere you want. Nice job! 👍👍👍
Congratulations on the barn expansion…looks great!
Man that's a nice addition, can never have too much barn space or concrete that's for sure!
Your planning turned into a great barn setup. Enjoyed the build out process.
You always do a good job explaining everything. The cows appeared to load and unload with no problems.
So good to see the constant development of your farm ! And so tidy, I’m retired from farming but wish I could have been tidier when I was still milking. Always trying to do too much myself, not good. Great job!
Great addition Eric. Glad to see it come together. God's blessings are amazing!
I am so impressed by your concern for your cows across so many dimensions. I bet the milk your cows produce is simply amazing. Shame on me if I don't give your videos a thumbs up every single time.
He is very serious about taking care of his cows. That's what I like.

Your pup has absolutely no idea how small it is.
Duchess is to cute.😂😂😂 Be patient.😂😂😂 Has she done any mousing yet?
So impressed Eric. That’s a lot of planning and forecasting your future needs. Congratulations. You and your dad are good partners. Well done.
A responsible breeder, his dairy herd will grow very well.
Enjoyed your tour of the new addition and how it will work for you and the cows of course. Cheers 🇨🇦
That little welder turned out to be really handy didn't it?
Thanks for sharing your great accomplishments and the history you're building for your children's future, and thanks for your service!
I live in Brazil and i know what you mean to make what it takes ends meet and keep your cows friendly well done

A lot of smart features in this setup.
That little dog is just so danged cute - and such a "helper". Barn looks great and lots nicer for the cows.
Looks great. I would maybe grease the post before I put it in the hole to help with removal in the future.
Awesome stuff Eric! And a lot more space for activities 😁
It would be nice to wake up every morning at Eric's peaceful farm :)
This was the finale video I was waiting for! The addition looks really good. The cows will appreciate the extra room and it sure looks like it will be improved function for you. Glad it came out. Looking forward to manure spreading!
Nice and important addition to the farm. Improving cow health is really where you can improve on getting the most money out of each cow.
Great improvements for your comfort & the cows comfort!

Thanks for keeping us up to date in the upgrades!
I watch a lot of you tuber farms and yours is by far the cleanest most organized of all of them. Just beautiful job. 🥰
The little things matter when building.
Very nice expansion the way you explained it makes good sense
I love seeing the pup running amongst the cows as she looks like a mini cow.
Someone else wanted to TALK,PUP! Love the movable posts and gate idea. Thanks

Congrats on the barn addition. For fans check out big ass fans. They sell some real monsters. We have a few here at our local military base hangers.
Your Sir are making a good dairy/farmer man. You and Dad /family have to be proud!
