You guys are making me nostalgic... I wonder if the original game runs on windows 11? There's probably a remastered version floatin' around the internet somewhere...
best bet is probably to use something like DOSBox for the OG game.

Thanks, El. That might be a fun weekend project.
no prob, I play old games quite often, and lemme tell ya sometimes it's a pain the ass to get them to run on modern systems haha. Last time I was 20+ hours or so into one of them and ran into a bug that crashed the game, and while I'm pretty good at google-fu I couldn't figure that shit out, was really pissed about it.

Any compressed version?
We could try an experiment... maybe...

Like, go on the Top of this page, find the Search box, I know, I know... it seems stupid to have to Search for the Search box, but it is what it is...
Then, type Compressed on the said Search box... See what happens, uh? Some people say that it works better if you go to your profile and change the search settings to "Most Recent" to cut unneeded fluff... Who knows uh?

You could maybe try it, no?

Peace :/

You leaving out Baldur's Gate hurts my heart.
My bad. I have played all the Baldur's Gate series too. It's and awesome RPG.

I keep telling myself that one day finish maxing my Bowazon's level - she's lv88 IIRC. But it's been decades, I probs won't.
I shouldn't... I really shouldn't tell on myself... As I said earlier, I have over 15,000 hours playing FO4... My version is heavily modded but I have two rules for myself. 1) No cheats 2) When you die you're dead. Start the cycle of life over again... I know every nook and cranny of the map and I have several very high level characters. Here's the tell on myself part - I am yet to see the ending for the main questline. I not only haven't seen it but, I don't know what it is and don't you dare spoiler it. I'm at the point of believing that when I finally finish that game I'll likely die the next day because I will have seen it all. Of course, now... Now I have the Long Road Home to keep me going. Which means I might live forever. :ROFLMAO:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Some old games are still alive, like the old UO
This game is famous among other things for the number of hours it makes the player lose, doing this or that. I'm not going to say how many hours I've dedicated to it because I'm embarrassed. :censored:

No spoiling... I swear. I've finished it with all factions. Even some extra modded.

Now, I no longer care for that. I play ONLY for Sim Settlements. Damn it is fun.

Peace :D
