- Ushnishaviyaya (tib. Tsuktor Namgyalma) is assigned to the Tathagata family of the Buddha Vairocana. She is connected with the Stupa of Complete Victory (རྣམ་རྒྱལ་མཆོད་རྟེན།), which recalls the Buddha's ability to control his longevity.
Namgyalma embodies long life and is seen as a healer of illnesses. The historical Buddha Shakyamuni emanated Ushnishavijaya from his hair crown (Skt. ushnisha).
The mantra is:
OM DHRUM SOHA OM AMRITA AYUR DADE SOHA
ཨོཾ་ བྷྲུྂ་སྭཱཧཱ། ཨོཾ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ་ཨཱ་ཡུརྡ་དེ་སྭཱཧཱ།
The long-life Buddhas very often appear in a group of three: Namgyalma, whose mantra you can hear here, Sita-Tara (Dolkar), and Amitayus (Tsepame).

My wife is pregnant, she just feel a bit bad now, our baby is 6 weeks so far. We are having a risky pregnant cos is bleeding a bit since 5 days, we are a worry about it. Yesterday i pray to namgyalma to help the baby to come this world safe, so he or she can practice Dharma and get enlightment for the benefict of all sentients beings. Now music playing for near 30 minuts and she is sleepling peacefully. No doubt Namgyalma is here taking care of her. 🙏 🙏 🙏
May all sentients beings find the Dharma and walk all etapes of ilumination getting rid of suffering as soon as posible. 🙏 🙏 🙏

This is very beautiful! i am wondering what the symbolism of the colors in this tradition are. white, yellow, blue/black, red and green seem to signify the 5 elements, but i haven't seen much information beyond that. I got interested in these colours because of the Kalachakra Mandala, where there are 4 sides to the mandala. There are black/blue, red, yellow and white. This is interesting because in western alchemy there is this notion of 4 different stages of the transformation process; nigredo: black, rubedo: red, citrinitas: yellow and albedo: white. Might be coincidental.

Rinpoche La, Could I ask you is what is Goddess Tseringma's mantra?
Dear Kian Lee,
There are at least three forms, which are named Tseringma.
The first is a protector of Shalu Monastery.
The second is the famous mountain goddess with her four sisters named Tashi Tseringma Che Nga.
The third is a much later version that originated from the Longchen Nyingtig tradition of the "Revealed Treasure" from the 18th century.
it is better that you ask the teacher who gives you the initiation on one of the aspects for the corresponding mantra

Always pronounce a mantra the way you hear it from your teacher.

@@youmemeyou Yeah the Tibetan letter is transliterated as a B. But in this case the pronounciation is closer to a D.
There's a famous example of a long Tibetan syllable that's spelled 'bsgrubs', and pronounced as 'dub' :)
