    Thank you for your review. I am also on a wait list for this firearm.
    On a different note, as a retired Chrysler employee, I salute you for buying a USA built vehicle, and especially a Jeep. I drive a Jeep Compass Trailhawk and it does everything I need. 😊

    I work at a gun store. I picked it up right before shot show. At Shot Show this was the cat's ass, everyone wanted to see it and handle it. I got mine for just over 500 bucks.....crazy that now they are going for 1000 bucks. I will buy another one when we get it in. Perks for working at a gun shop and dealing with pricks on a daily basis

      Yeah one thing I learned doing gun videos is that the 2A community isn’t really a real thing. Gun people are hateful, know way less than they think they do, unsafe with guns and downright buttholes. Thanks for watching

    Just picked mine up today from my LGS, stripped and cleaned it, and headed to the range to compare with the R7 Mako. First thing that was apparent is that the HK is significantly softer shooting than the Kimber. Looking good so far....

    Good video! Had mine about 3 months and love it. I did install the large back strap and a EPS carry red dot on it.

    • @GSquaredTactical
      @GSquaredTactical  Месяц назад +2

      Yeah, sadly, the only one that was available to me was the one with the optic already mounted. I did remove it and put the EPS up there, but I seemed to have a little better co-witness with the 407. Also, the EPS was a little bit wider off the side of the slides and was kind of distracting to me so I put the 407 back on it. I probably should install the larger back strap maybe that will lengthen my LOP AND MY FINGER WILL NOT GET STUCK IN THE TRIGGER GUARD AS MUCH LOL

    • @richardevans7457
      @richardevans7457 Месяц назад +1

      @@GSquaredTactical Yes the co-witness is not the best with either. I figured I would just wait for the aftermarket to make taller night sights. I had a mc9 that had perfect co-witness but the gun was junk. sent it back 2 times and they changed the barrel and recoil spring twice and it still was not reliable so I sold it. Don't let the haters get to you. I bought the cc9 for reliability and it has been flawless for me so I am happy, You are 100% correct in your comments about the gun and it will outlast both of us.

    • @GSquaredTactical
      @GSquaredTactical  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah, either that or I’m kind of hoping Holosun we’ll make a flush mount HK specific like they have done for other HK models, and you will be able to get a Cowitness with the factory irons

    Im sure you’re shooting hard steel, but years ago I was at a local range shooting steel and had my 03’ mustang just behind us like your jeep. We packed up to leave and I noticed a piece of jacket or lead came back and hit the back windshield. Luckily it spider webbed with the safety glass and stayed in place (also because of the window tint installed) until I could get it replaced the next week. If I remember it was about a $500 whoops. Now I park around the corner of the actual range area.

    • @GSquaredTactical
      @GSquaredTactical  Месяц назад +3

      So far, I have not had any incidents like that. I guess I have been lucky.. There have been obviously few pieces of metal that will kind of land on the bed cover, etc. but I’ve never had any large chunks of scrap come back and hit it. Certainly not any pieces large enough to crack a window. However, I will say that the Jeep Has that gorilla glass in it and I have had a piece of gravel hit that windshield at 70 miles an hour, nickel size, gravel, and barely even put a mark on the glass so maybe that has something to do with it. I don’t know I do know that. The guy that used to do the channel with me would bring his old school wrangler down here and it never done anything to his glass and I have also brought my 3500 Silverado down here and so far no issues. I will say that the Jeep or whatever vehicle I am driving is always 18 to 20 yards away from the target. Not sure how close you were parked, but I will be on the lookout. Thanks for the heads up.

    Neat little gun, I didn’t think you were to big on glocks.
    I’m not a Glock fanatic myself but I do like the size of the G45, they in my opinion are way over priced for what you get compared to HK and others. People complain about HK look what you’re getting compared to others. You can buy a Glock and when your finished with it, sights, trigger, recoil spring ext. you have a HK with and optic or a CZ with optic for same price or less.

    • @GSquaredTactical

      I sold my gen 5 glock 19 in preparation for this. I had constant feed issues with my glock, as did a friend that shot it. I bought my mid-pandemic, which i heard there were glock issues for "pandemic glocks". But I needed to upgrade to something I would trust in times of need. So i'm happy to have switched to the cc9 for now, and will say I have the opposite issue with the slide release, my spring seems very stiff and as a left handed shooter my right slide release seems stubborn, and the left slide release operates as expected.

    • @GSquaredTactical
